Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have revealed Italian side Udinese are yet to conclude the signing of Ghana youth international midfielder Clifford Aboagye.
The 18-year-old underwent trials with the Udine-based Serie A side last season and he overly impressed officials at the Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Reports in the Ghanaian media claimed Les Zebrettes had reached a deal with Inter Allies to sign the nimble-footed architect on long-term basis.
However, Allies coach Willie Klutse has explained the two parties are yet to reach an agreement to sign Aboagye who won the Bronze Boot Award at the 2013 FIFA U20 World Cup in Turkey earlier this month.
“Udinese have not yet signed him so he is still our player. He will begin training with with us for the time being until something is sorted out,” the former Ghana international star told media men in Accra.
Aboagye’s breathtaking shows in Turkey attracted huge interest around him with a flock of European sides chasing after his signature with Arsenal and Atletico Madrid all mentioned.
