Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah came off the bench to score the second goal for Arsenal Kiev who recorded their first win of the season after beating Karpaty 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.

The 23-year-old was handed his first playing minutes of the season after he came off the substitute bench to score on the hour mark for Arsenal at the Stadion Ukrajina in L’viv.

The former AC Milan striker had just spent a minute on the pitch after replacing Ukrainian youngster Yury Bushman in the 59th minute and he made the most important contribution of the game for Arsenal by doubling their tally.

Attacker Maksim Shatskikh played through the Black Stars forward and he beautifully connected home from close range to secure the maximum points for the visitors.

Compatriot Abeiku Quansah once again failed to make the first team squad for Arsenal Kiev.
