Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom is yet to break into the FC Dnipro first team squad as he sat out in the stands once more as they suffered a humiliating 3-1 defeat to FC Zorya on Saturday.

The 24-year-old versatile full-back returned to the Dnipro Arena after spending the second half of last season at French Ligue 1 side FC Bastia but he yet to break into the first team squad.

Inkoom has watched both of Dnipro’s opening two games of the season either from the stands or on television and the situation was no different on Saturday as he watched from the stands at the Dnipro Arena in their shocking 3-1 home defeat to FC Zorya.

The defender is believed to be pushing for a move away from the Ukrainian side but Dnipro want the right amount for the former Asante Kotoko defender.

Dnipro’s failure to win at home has seen them drop to fourth while there are outstanding games for clubs just beneath them.
