Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan says he is so good at music that his parents thought he will pursue that career while growing up.

The Black Stars striker alongside his Hip Life friendt Castro have released their latest musical work titled; ‘Odo Pa’ (True Love).

The 27-year-old has already featured in two hit songs; ‘African Girls’ and ‘Do The Dance’ in his part-time musical career.

Gyan, with showbiz name; ‘Baby Jet’ however says his is more muscially inclined than people think and that he is so good his parents saw him becoming more of a musician than a successful footballer he now is.

“My parents actually thought I would do music but I turned out to be a footballer,” he said in an extensive interview.

“Music is my life and has been part of me from childhood.

“Look, even when I am performing to a live-band, I can actually detect when the sound is not right or when an instrumentalist goes off-beat.”

The Black Stars striker and his Hip Life friends Castro have already shot the video for their new song.

The highlife track has famous actors; ‘Agya Koo’ and ‘Funny Face’ playing key roles in the video to be released soon.
