Dominic Oduro netted his ninth goal of the season in Columbus Crew’s 2-1 defeat on Saturday

On-fire Ghanaian forward Dominic Oduro scored an unbelievable belter for Columbus Crew in their 2-1 defeat to Toronto FC in the American Major Soccer League.

Oduro raced the visitors into the lead at the BMO Field in the 17th minutes with an effort that could only be imagined from a world-class striker.

The 27-year-old whose form in the MSL has dominated the headlines struck his ninth goal of the season with some master-class effort from the right side of attack.

Midfielder Sanchez switched his pass from the center to find the Ghanaian who blasted a powerful low drive in through the near post though the goalkeeper had the spot marked.

However, Crew were unable to hold on to the lead as the host equalised and won the tie 2-1.

Oduro’s form had been encouraging and he is perhaps enjoying his best season in the MSL since making his debut in 2006.
