Hearts of Oak’s board member Frank Nelson has clarified a recent publication by GHANAsoccernet.com – insisting quotes attributed to him were not target to damn past and current leadership of the club.

GHANAsoccernet.com had on Wednesday July 24, 2013 published an inferential article titled: “Board Member Frank Nelson slams Crentsil-led administration for Hearts’ slump”.

This article sought to interpret quotes picked from the Hearts of Oak’s website attributed to Mr. Frank Nelson.

The Hearts board member is however adamant his words were taken out of context for which GHANAsoccernet.com assumes full responsibility.

“I did not intend to damn or belittle anyone or a group of persons when I was sharing the lessons we as a club learnt from a difficult season,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Everyone admits we had a difficult start to the season but we managed to rally ourselves through the help of God to finish the season strongly.

“We therefore as a collective unit must share in the successes and shortcomings of the just ended season for which no single individual and a selected group of people must be held responsible.

“My words therefore were never meant to damn the administration of Mr. Fred Crentsil or any other group for that matter.”

GHANAsoccernet.com wishes to express it’s profound apologies to both Mr. Nelson and Mr. Crentsil for any injury that might have occurred to their individual reputations due to the publication made by this website.

We will like to assure both gentlemen this website has no intention or interest of deliberately soiling their hard won reputation.

We also hope the blip in relations which might have occurred by the publication between this media network and the subjects involved is resolved and strengthened through this rejoinder.
