Ghanaian youngster Bismark Adjei-Boateng is confident Norwegian side Stromsgodset are poised to cruise past Czech Republic outfit FK Jablonec in the third round qualifiers of the Europa League.

Boateng, 19, scored the second goal for the Drammen-based side as they shocked Hungarians VSC Debrecen 3-0 to progress from the second round qualifying tie on a 5-3 aggregate after drawing the first leg 2-2 back at the Marienlyst Stadion.

Stromsgodset suffered elimination on their debut appearance against Spanish giants Atletico Madrid two seasons ago at the round of 32 but Boateng believes the Norwegians are far more determined to get past their new opponents.

“I believe we can go through past the last 32 for sure,” he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

Thursday’s goal marked his 7th of the season from midfield for the Eliteserien side and the Manchester City loanee feels elated for his promising form at the early stage of the season.

“Scoring in the Europa League brings extra excitement. I feel very happy to score in the Europa qualifiers and the most important thing is we won and went through,” he added.

Boateng joined Stromsgodset from Manchester City last season and bid his time steadily for a regular place in Ronny Deila’s side.
