Resourcery ends Executive Business session

The session, which demonstrated how both one-way and two-way video solutions can be employed within the corporate arena for improved business benefits, was attended by executives in the Banking, Energy and Manufacturing sectors.

Mrs Chioma Osita, Cisco’s Territory Business Manager for Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone said Cisco collaboration technology is reviving the workplace by allowing people to meet virtually, efficiently, and reliably from nearly any point on the globe.

In effect, businesses save travel cost and time, thay are able to close deals and offer solutions to clients while increasing their competitive advantage.

She said the use of video to aid productivity and communication has been on the ascendancy around the globe within the corporate environment for some time now, and the Ghanaian business environment should begin to enter that developmental phase as well.

In an interactive discussion via video and voice, participants in Ghana engaged with others in Nigeria to give hands on experience of the technology. The technology which runs on most devices with internet connectivity means that businesses can easily integrate into their workplace tools.

Speaking on the topic “Revolutionising Business through Video, Mr Olugbenga Adanlawo, Business Solution Manager, (Video and Voice), said “video collaboration has become an important part of corporate culture across the globe, an indispensable tool for doing business, as communication is twice as important as marketing strategies.”

He said the use of the technology will have a significant effect on the overall business performance because it transforms the business environment completely, people can meet virtually from any point on the globe, eliminating geographical boundaries and bringing teams together to enhance internal and external service delivery.

Citing an example, he said “Resourcery has deployed Cisco voice and video solution to a large bank in Nigeria and this has helped the bank to save cost considerably and also improved productivity significantly”.
