Current Kotoko crisis could affect Michael Anaba move to Elche FC

Michael Anaba’s move to Spanish second-tier side Elche FC could be halted by failure of Kotoko to release the necessary documentations to facilitate the transfers.

The 19-year-old has travelled to Spain and has excelled in a trial game for the side with Elche ready to sign on the Ghana U20 midfielder.

However, recent happenings at Kotoko which has led to the resignation of Executive Board Chairman Dr Desmond Sarpong could throw the move into doubt.

Reports from Kumasi on Monday suggest club official was denied access to documents which is needed to facilitate the deal.

It is reported that all transfer transactions have been halted for the meantime with players who are expected to join foreign clubs to know their fate later in the week.

Kotoko fans are angry with the club’s mass transfer policy with a sect pleading with the club’s life patron the Asantehene to sack the Executive Board Chairman.
