Supreme Genesis denies claims

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Daniel Afari-Boateng, told journalists in Accra that his company would not engage in any act of criminality, such as employing landguards to harass and rape farmers on the said land, which they legally acquired.

‘Supreme Genesis will not support any act of criminality, let alone recruit landguards to terrorise residents in the community. It is baseless,’ he said.

Mr Afari-Boateng said due diligence was conducted by Supreme Genesis before the land was legally acquired.

He said farm produce on the land had been measured by the company and gave the assurance that farmers whose crops would be affected by its housing project would be compensated based on the agreed amount and mode of payment.

He alleged that some people were bent on tarnishing the image of Supreme Genesis and its partners, and urged the media to ignore the rumour peddlers.

Mr Afari-Boateng denied allegations that Supreme Genesis had ‘bought’ the entire Nsawam Police to back the company, and described it as baseless.
