Emmanuel Tagoe has completed his final training session in Ghana ahead of his first oversees bout on the ticket of Asamoah Gyan’s Baby Jet Boxing Promotions.
The ‘Game Boy’ is set to fight Gerardo Robles at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California on August 9.
A win for Tagoe will take him closer to securing a World title for Ghana.
The WBA International and WBO Africa super-featherweight champion has since been on feverish preparations and completed his final session on Friday ahead of his trip to the USA for the bout on August 9.
The 24-year-old believes he is in the best of shapes on the eve of his maiden trip to the USA.
“My team have done a great job to prepare me very well for this fight,” he said.
“I feel well conditioned and focus for this fight and I believe everything in my corner is set for the fight.”
Tagoe will finally fight his American opponent originally scheduled for June due to difficulties in securing a work permit.
The fight has now been given the all clear to take place on August 9 at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, California.
