Former Ghana U17 captain Nasiru Mohammed inspired BK Hacken’s come-back as they nicked a 2-2 draw against Czech Republican side Sparta Praha in the Uefa Europa League on Thursday evening.

The 18-year-old marked his debut in the lucrative European second-tier club competition and he marked the night at the Generali Arena with yet another glistening show in the Czech capital.

Hacken had fallen behind twice after conceding goals  David Lafata scored a brace in the 33rd and 66th minutes for the open but Nasiru inspired the Swedish side back into the game.

The youngster was the architect of a quick counter-attack from the far right and finished it off with style. He raced quickly to connect with a Rene Makondele return pass and kept his calm to bury the ball in between the legs of the Sparta goalkeeper to halve the deficit.

His goal gave Peter Gerhardsson’s side confidence and they profited from his quickness and decisive ability as he took on three defenders after picking a long throw-in from the right and laying a defence-splitting pass for Congolese attacker Makondele to finish off.

Compatriot Reuben Aryana was an unused substitute as he watched the entire game from the bench while Nasiru was replaced in the 92nd minute of the game.
