Diego Maradona Denied US Visa

DIEGO Maradona has had to cancel a family holiday to Disney World — after the US denied him a visa.

The Argentina footie legend, 52, booked a trip to the Florida theme park as a treat for grandson Benjamin.

He pleaded his case in person at the US embassy in Dubai — where he was staying — but was still refused. A source described it as a “political” decision, adding: “His relationship with the US has never been good.

“His friendships with Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez and other enemies of the US stopped him being given permission before.” Four-year-old Benjamin is the son of Maradona’s daughter Giannina and her Manchester City ace ex Sergio Aguero.

Maradona’s new female footie star lover Rocio Oliva, 22, and his other daughter Dalma, 26, were also set to go on the trip. The source added: “It was a bit of a kick in the teeth for Diego. “The family were really excited about the holiday.”

Premier League hotshot Aguero, 25, broke up with 24-year-old Giannina in March. He is now dating Argie pop beauty Karina Tejeda, 27 — dubbed The Little Princess.

Controversial star Maradona — famed for his handball goal against England at the 1986 World Cup — was sent home from the 1994 tournament in the United States after failing a drugs test.
