Job Title: Production Manager
Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra Region
Duties and Responsibilities:
- As head of the Production Department, the Production Manager oversees all functions in that department.
- Provide input on jobsite logistics, organisation, plant layout, equipment and manpower utilisation.
- Scheduling and expediting the delivery of materials and equipment for timely on-site delivery and usage.
- Organising and coordinating the work of varoius site managers on assigned projects and other supervisers, making sure that the quality standards are met
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on progress of projects and all activities in the Production Department.
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality control programmes
- Estimating costs and setting quality standards for all production activities
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Manages performance and delivery of Staff in the department
- Oversee all Maintenance activities ensuring that plants and equipment are in good working condition.
Qualification and Requirements
- An university degree in Civil Engineering or Building Technology
- Must have 5-10 years work experience with at least 3 years in the Construction industry
- Must also be able to handle responsibility and the pressure of meeting deadlines
- Must have excellent technical knowledge of concrete products
- Must have problem solving and good organizational skills
- Must be between ages 35 to 45 years
- Must have team leadership skills
