Juventus duo Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Paul Pogba will go head-to-head for a place in the Under-20 World Cup final when their respective nations of France and Ghana meet in Bursa for a last four showdown.

Either the France side skippered by Pogba, dominant in the knockout stages so far, or the Ghanaian team spearheaded by striker Boakye will have the chance to lift the prestigious youth trophy when they face the winner of tomorrow’s other semi-final between Iraq and Uruguay.

It will be the second time the Bianconeri starlets have met in the tournament, with France holding the upper hand after opening their campaign with a 3-1 win over the Black Stars in the inaugural game of Group A.

France and Ghana have been the two highest scoring sides in the tournament to date, and both teams approach the encounter in a rich vein of form.

Pogba masterminded France to a 4-0 victory over Uzbekistan in the previous round, celebrating his return from suspension with a coolly taken penalty on 35 minutes.

Ghana, meanwhile, saw off USA 4-1 before going on to secure an underdog victory over Portugal and a thrilling 4-3 triumph against Chile to reach this stage.
