The chief of Nkwaben, a town in the Nkoransa south municipality of the Brong Ahafo region has slapped a fine on a 35-year-old woman who lured a 12-year-boy into the bush and defiled him.
This was in reaction to a complaint made by the father of the 12-year-boy who was defiled by Madam Abena Badu on her farm.
The chief has asked the woman, Madam Abena Badu to bring 2 presentable, matured sheep for sacrifice to appease the gods. According to the father of the child, his son reported to him of having strange nightmares after having slept with the woman at her farmland. He said the boy explained to him that the woman took him to a farm three weeks ago and wanted to have sex with him but he declined.
The woman again lured him the following week to the farm and this time, succeeded in her dubious intentions. Upon interrogations by the chiefs and elders of the town, the woman confirmed the abominable act she had with the little boy.
Meanwhile, no official complaint has been lodged at the Nkoranza police for legal action to be taken against the woman.
