The live album recording entails a live recording of songs and videos for an album at a venue in front of a live audience. Joe Mettle said in an interview that although there have been a few of such recordings, his will be the first of its kind in Ghana.

‘We are capturing the live atmosphere instead of going to the studio and recording it,’ he noted and added that he will be involving a live audience in the recording. You will never leave the place the same.’ Joe has been doing gospel music commercially for about ten years now. He started his career with award winning music group Soul Winners. Sound of Praise is his second album, his first was titled, The Gratitude.
