Ghanaian striker Razak Pimpong says he has started planning for life after football as he nears retirement.

The former FC Copenhagen star knows his end will come soon after playing 13 years in Europe.

Pimpong, who currently plays for Danish top flight side Viborg FF, wants to remain relevant when he hung up his boots.

“Currently, I am thinking about life after football as I will certainly retire one day, in some years to come,” Pimpong is quoted by Goal Ghana.

“In Africa, when you retire from football people easily forget about you so you have to get something essential doing.”

The 30-year-old has played for Midtjylland, Viking and Aalesund.
