Striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and defender Baba Abdul Rahman will fly to Turkey to join the Ghana U20 squad this week after helping the Black Stars in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.

Ghana U20 coach Sellas Tetteh named the two players in his final 21-man squad for the tournament but have to join the team late because of their involvement in the Black Stars games.

The pair were included in Kwesi Appiah’s squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Sudan and Lesotho with Boakye-Yiadom playing in both games.

Boakye, 19, plays for Italian Serie A champions Juventus while Baba Rahman plies his trade with relegated Bundesliga side Greuther Furth.

The arrival of the two will complete the 21-man squad in camp and give Sellas Tetteh full house.

Ghana is drawn in the same Group with Spain, France and the United States of America.

Ghana open their campaign against France on Friday.
