Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has suffered another injury setback with his French club Evian Thonon Gaillard.
The 22-year-old was not included in the Evian squad for Sunday’s Ligue 1 defeat to PSG.
Mensah according the club’s website is out with a thigh injury.
A specific time is yet to be announced for the return of the former Free State Stars defender.
Mensah has been limited to only six first team appearances for the Roses this term with injury playing a major part in his minimal game time this season.
His injury will be a source of great concern for Ghana coach Akwasi Appiah who is the process of forming his squad for the crucial 2014 World Cup qualifiers in June.
Meanwhile, compatriot; Rabiu Mohammed saw full time action in the defeat to PSG.
