The inimitable award winning celebrated Nigerian actress, singer ,founder Oyep, UN ambassador WFP, Amnesty International activist, Mogul now famously called The African Magic and recently enlisted into the TIME100 list for 2013 Omotola Jalade – Ekeinde has in a recent interview disclosed her greatest moving force was her “faith in God”.
Speaking on the tedious task of managing her home as a married woman for the past seventeen (17) years and shuffling between family, career and other activities, Omotola disclosed saying; “My faith in God, my rock and comforter, my teacher Jesus Christ……I don’t joke with my foundation”.
The beautiful actress advised young individuals who wish to venture into the showbiz industry to take their religion serious as it is very easy to get carried away. She referred to the showbiz industry as the “trickiest job in the world as you are pulled psychologically by different people and therefore need to have a strong religious background.”
She also gave props to her husband for keeping her faith in check when she nearly veered off.
Omotola is currently in New York where she attended the TIME100 Gala.
