Herbert Addo wants to seek compensation from Aduana

Coach Herbert Addo has begun court proceedings to retrieve unpaid monies from his former employers Aduana Stars.

The former local Black Stars coach and his lawyer were at an Accra Labour Court on Monday to push for their severance package following his unlawful dismissal.

Addo’s two-year contract was abrogated in August 2010 without being compensated.

He was handed a contract after guiding the club to win the Ghana Premier League on their debut season in 2010.

But he was later informed by Chief Executive Kofi Manu that the club was undergoing restructuring and that his services was no longer going to be needed.

“I can’t completely say how much my client is owed because there are other receipts we have to tabulate,” Lawyer Larbi Amoah told MTNFootball.com

“The court has asked to prepare a leave-to-amend which we will include in our writ.”
