Ghana attacker Samuel Afum scored his first Swiss Super League for Young Boys and helped them defeat Lausanne Sport on Sunday.
The 23-year-old, who joined the Bern-based side in January, was involved in Young Boys second goal after setting up a penalty before adding his name to the score-sheet in the 74th minute.
The former Hearts of Oak man had set up Elsad Zveroti? in the 68th minute before registering his first goal of the season for the club six minutes later.
Young Boys had been without a win in their last six games and had slipped down the ladder to seventh and the victory was so much needed.
And, it was the Ghanaian they signed from Egyptian side FC Smouha who made the difference, taking on the opposition defence and creating space for his team-mates to operate.
First in the 33rd minute, his artistry won the host a crucial penalty which was converted by Costanzo and returned from the break to set up Zveroti? for the second.
After serving as the architech for both goals, it was time for Afum to get onto the score-sheet and he did that in grand style.
He employed his superior pace and outwitted his marker to go one-on-one with the visitors goalkeeper before expertly lifting the ball home to increase the tally 3-0.
