Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee Warns Against Creating New Districts

The joint mission under the Inter-Ministerial Coordinating Committee on Decentralisation has completed its findings on how to deepen the decentralisation reform in Ghana.

At a final meeting in Accra, the experts led by Professor Kwamena Ahwoi, recommended that government must be more circumspect in creating new districts in the future, because too many districts tend to undermine the decentralisation process.
