Origin8 gets new CEO

The Board of Directors of Origin8, an advertising and marketing communications company, has appointed Mr William Yaw Ansah as its new Chief Executive Officer.

A press statement issued by the Corporate Affairs Manager of the Company, Mr Daniel Adjei, said the appointment of Mr Ansah, a leading consultant in marketing communications and  expert in Global marketing, signalled a renewed direction and a revived approach to leadership for the company,

According to the statement, the appointment followed Mr Ansah’s prowess and capabilities which had turn names into brands, brands into household names, and sales into profit  ever since he joined the company some few months ago.

Reacting to his appointment, Mr Ansah said, “I am delighted to take up this role. I know that Origin8 has been the leader in the advertising and communications industry on many historical and important milestones in Ghana and it is my desire and hope to work collectively with our staff to turn around the fortunes of the company to reaffirm this position in the industry”.

Mr Ansah has more than 10 years of senior management experience across the areas of business development, marketing, client relationship management, branding and creating new markets for companies.

He has worked full time or part time on consultancy basis and his expertise lies greatly in ensuring increased sales with low bad debts and also turning dog products into cash cow products.

Mr Ansah, who had his training from the University of Ghana and furthered his education at the University of Liverpool, UK, has a wealth of knowledge and insight to bring to this role.

He also had his entrepreneurship training at Empretec Ghana  and is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.

Before moving to Origin8, Mr Ansah had worked with Business Management and Financial Institute, Rosaab International, Sahabia Publications, Afram Publications and the USAID (EQUALL Project).
