Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Sammy Adjei has revealed coach David Duncan doesn’t even talk to him despite being a regular at training.

The Ghana international is yet to feature for the Phobians since the arrival of the former AshGold trainer who has made Tetteh Lugard his first choice goalkeeper.

Adjei insists he has been a regular at training but never gets game time, not even a word from his coach.

The former Ashdod FC goalkeeper now reveals his relationship with coach Duncan has deteriorated just like the one that existed between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Pep Guardiola during their time at Barcelona.

“I have always taken part in training but the coach doesn’t even speak to me,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.

“I have conducted myself very well as an experienced player but a believe someone is bad-mouthing me to the coach.

“Because I don’t see why I always go to training and the coach doesn’t even speak nor tell me anything.

“Not even a word to me when he is calling his team for games, so that clearly tells you something is going on.”

Adei has fallen off the perking order at Hearts where he appears to be the third choice goalkeeper behind Tetteh Lugard and Philemon McCarthy.
