Hearts goalkeeper Sammy Adjei says he will jump at the chance of joining arch-rivals Asante Kotoko next season.
The Ghanaian champions have been linked with a sensational move for the experienced shot-stopper with the future of Abdoulaye Soulama uncertain.
The 32-year-old had insisted in the past leaving the capital-based side was out of the question but after growing frustrated under new coach David Duncan, he now says he will jump at the prospect of playing for Hearts sworn-rivals Kotoko next season.
‘I will not hesitate to join Kotoko if the chance presents itself,” Adjei said
“We cannot tell the future but I will sign for them. Why not?
“There are lots of issues here. I am committed to Hearts at the moment but when the chance to join them (Kotoko) come my way, I will take it.”
Adjei’s relationship with coach Duncan has broken down after he revealed he was not even on talking terms with him.
