The Ghana Football Association has confirmed the Black Stars will play Kenya’s Harambee Stars in June as a preparatory match for two 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the same month.
The friendly will be played in Nairobi-where the Black Stars will be camping-on 1 June.
“We have reached an agreement to play Kenya in a friendly as part of our preparations for our World Cup qualifiers in June,” GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi said.
The Black Stars will play Sudan on 8 June in Khartoum and fly back to Nairobi to continue for the next qualifier.
Ghana will then head to Maseru to engage Lesotho, a side they demolished 7-0 at the Baba Yara Stadium last year.
Kenya are also preparing to face African champions Nigeria at home and then travel to Blantyre to play Malawi.
