Real Tamale United coach Roberto Carlos has admitted his side cannot beat the drop no more.
The Ukrainian-born Spanish took charge of the Northern Lions January but he has failed to turn around the fortune of the club in the second round of the league.
Carlos was initially defiant about the likelihood of his side’s demotion from the Ghanaian top-flight but after two straight defeats to Dwarfs and Edubiase, he has thrown in the towel.
RTU are without a win since the start of the season and have conceded as many as 51 goals scoring just 10.
After seeing his side succumb to a 4-1 home defeat to New Edubiase United at the Tamale Sports Stadium, Carlos admits his side’s chances are dimmed.
“I don’t think we can survive relegation,” he told Accra-based Happy FM.
RTU have lost 18 games and have picked just five draws.
