Berekum Chelsea moved joint-top of the Glo Premier League standings on Wednesday with leaders, Medeama.
The Berekum side defeated Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 at the Golden City Park to go level on points at summit.
Simon Kangoh’s goal after six minutes into the start of the match separated both teams until referee Joseph Lamptey sounded his final whistle.
Leaders, Medeama, who were three points ahead of their close challengers dropped points after losing away to Amidaus, a result which allowed Chelsea to catch them at the top.
And with seven matches to end the season, the title race is still wide open with just one point separating the first and second clubs from the team in third position, Asante Kotoko.
