Justin Bieber's tour bus raided by drugs cops

Justin Bieber was embroiled in a drugs bust when his tour bus was raided by police in Sweden on Wednesday night.

Cops controlling crowds of fans in the city of Stockholm reportedly smelled marijuana smoke coming from the vehicle while it was parked outside the city’s Grand Hotel, so they deployed a specialist drugs team to raid the coach.

The bust was carried out after the vehicle had been moved to the Ericsson Globe Arena, where the singer was performing on his Believe tour.

Officers searched the bus and found a stash of unidentified drugs onboard. The substances have since been sent for analysis.

A stun gun, which requires a permit in Sweden, was also discovered during the raid, which took place while Bieber was on stage.

Lars Bystrom, a spokesman for the Stockholm police department, says, “A colleague (smelt) a strong smell of marijuana, like someone had been smoking in the bus. We carried out a search and we found a small amount of alleged narcotics. We also found an electroshock weapon that wasn’t licensed… We don’t have a specific suspect, there were several people in the bus.”

Asked about the type of drugs found on the bus, Bystrom replies, “We sent the sample to a laboratory for analysis.”

Bieber and his 10-man entourage have since left the country and flown to Finland.

After the story broke on Thursday, the teenage singer wrote in a post on his Twitter.com page, “Some of the rumours about me… where do people even get this stuff. Whatever… back to the music.”
