Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo has rejected comparison to club legendary goal scorer Ishmael Addo.
Mahatma, 21, has been hogging the headlines in the Ghanaian Premier League following his impressive scoring run for the Hearts of Oak.
The Ghana international has scored 15 goals in all competitions for Hearts this season and he propelled them to the quarter-finals of the MTN FA Cup.
However after netting a brace to help the former African champions record their first away win of the season – a 3-1 victory over city-rivals – Liberty Professionals, the Mamelodi Sundowns-pursuit rejected comparisons to Ishmael Addo.
“I’m not Ishmael Addo, I’m Mahatma Otoo and I’m doing what I can to help the club,” he told reporters at the Karl Reindorf Park.
Mahatma has taken a firm control of the leadership of the goal-king chart with 13 goals from 22 games.
