The Ghana U17 technical team will know their fate after the Executive Committee has reviewed their work at the African Junior Championship.

The Black Starlets crashed out of the competition without winning a single match.

The team after a disastrous start against Nigeria in a 6-1 defeat, drew all their subsequent group games against Congo and Ivory Coast to exit the competition.

Despite Ghana’s dreadful run in Morocco, the Ghana FA boss Kwasi Nyantakyi insists the targets set for the team for the tournament had been achieved.

The powerful Executive Committee will now review the work of the technical team headed by Paa Kwesi Fabin before taking a definitive decision on their future.

“The Executive Committee will do a thorough review of their work and if in the Executive Committee’s wisdom that they should continue then yes they will still be at post,” GFA President Kwasi Nyantakyi told GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Black Starlets team returned home to a virtually non-existent reception on Wednesday night.
