AshantiGold’s hopes of continuing with their fine form suffered a second half Berekum Arsenal fightback as the Gunners drew 2-2 at the Len Clay Stadium on Wednesday.
It was the visitors who broke the deadlock when Akwensi Bonsu scored in the 9th minute.
But Yakubu Mohammed, the league’s second top scorer struck twice within three minutes in the 29th and 32nd minute to give the Miners the lead.
However, the Gunners were not finished as they had to wait until the 78th minute to draw level through Raphael Obeng. A goal which handed them a share of the spoils.
