Liberty Professionals will host Hearts of Oak at Dansoman for only the second time in their history in the Ghanaian Premier League on Wednesday.
Liberty have opted to play their city rivals at the Accra sports stadium on all but one occasion since they secured qualification to the elite division 14 years ago to maximize profit.
The scientific soccer lads have confirmed they will play Hearts in front of their home fans at Dansoman despite the huge financial windfall that they will lose.
Liberty wants to capitalize on the familiarity on their home grounds to hand the Phobians their second defeat in the second round.
Hearts coach David Duncan has insisted his team is work in progress but after struggling to beat nine-man Amidaus Professionals 1-0 at home last Sunday, there are doubts about their potential.
Liberty have endured perhaps their worst campaign in the Ghanaian top-flight after picking a paltry 28 points from 22 games and lie just above the relegation zone.
They will therefore be desperate for the maximum points against Hearts who also have New Edubiase and Liberty themselves breathing down their neck.
In fact victory for the home side will help them leapfrog Hearts on the table and that could put the 200 African Champions in serious danger.
The fixture is expected to attract huge numbers to the Sly Tetteh Memorial stadium in Dansoman.
