Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah wants his colleagues to focus on Sunday’s derby against Torino rather than winning the title.
The old ladies of Italian football could clinch a second successive victory if they beat their local rivals and second-placed Napoli are beaten a day earlier at Pescara.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian international is urging his teammates not to get ahead of themselves but focused on a win at the Stadio Olimpico.
“We are thinking we want to win the derby and then we will think of winning the Scudetto,” Asamoah said.
“The derby is a tough game and requires the utmost concentration. The championship is there, we’re getting closer, but it’s not worth thinking about.”
Juventus edged closer to the title after beating AC Milan 1-0 at the San Siro last weekend.
