Greuther Furth President Helmut Hack is determined to hold onto Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman for at least one more season.
The Cloverleaves who are just one defeat away from relegation from the German top flight are battling mounting interests to retain the Ghanaian left-back.
The former Asante Kotoko loanee has been linked with a summer move to Fiorentina and Schalke following an impressive debut in the Bundesliga.
Furth President Helmut Hack however says Baba Rahman will stay with the side at least for one more season despite the highly likely prospect of his side going down.
“He (Baba Rahman) will stay at least another year with us,” Hack simply said when confronted with the issue.
The 18-year-old has emerged one of the discoveries in the German top flight this season despite his team’s poor campaign.
He is most likely to leave Greuther Furth this summer with the Cloverleaves set to be relegated within just one year of winning promotion.
