Our client, an international company that provides services to mining companies, is currently seeking a Finance Manager for their operations in Ghana.
Job Title: Finance Director
Job Location: Tarkwa, Western Region
This position will be based in Tarkwa (Ghana) and the person will support the West Africa Finance Director in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
- Supervising accounting closings.
- Carrying out financial reports.
- Controlling and supervising the tax system of the company, including fiscal reports.
- Preparing budgets.
- Revising the monthly analysis in case of possible deviations.
- Controlling fixed assets.
- Controling payment to suppliers and invoice customers.
- Analyzing Cash flow.
- Supporting in bank negotiations.
- Financial reporting to West Africa Finance Director.
Qualification and Requirements
- University degree (Business Administration, Economics)
- Master´s degree in Finance
- Professional qualification such CPA, ICA, ACCA is desirable.
- At least 3 years’ of experience in a Financial Management position
- Technical knowledge (Budgetary process and techniques, Cash management,
- accurate cash flow projection modelling, accounting close process).
- Basic understanding of local country taxation concepts.
- Knowledge of accounting software.
