Sulley Muntari’s younger brother Muniru Sariki Sulley is hoping to make a huge impact under new coach Eugen Trica at Romanian side CFR Cluj.
Trica took over from Portuguese coach Paulo Sergio last week and handed Sulley his full-time action last Sunday in the 5-0 win at Gloria Bistrita.
Sulley is looking at building on that performance and securing a permanent starting place in the team.
“It is about hardwork. When you do good at training, definitely you will know you will start the next game so I’m trying to do my best in training and the coach will decide,” the 20-year-old told MTNFootball.com.
The former Liberty Professionals youth team player signed a three-and-a-half year deal in February after impressing on trial during the winter break.
But he believes the arrival of Trica will improve his fortunes at the club.
“He is very good and young. He played for the club eight years ago and we play with him like our teammate,” Sulley added.
