Preview: Both ends of table look for crucial wins

There is 24 points to play for in the Glo Premier League as the final eight matches would prove crucial in both ends of the table.

All the sides will be in action on Wednesday as the season continues to throw out mixed results.

Real Tamale United are gradually cementing their place in next season’s Division One League as they remain bottom on five points so far.

The Tamale side will welcome New Edubiase at home and another defeat could all but end their survival hopes.

Medeama will attempt to maintain their lead but must first ensure they pick all three points from the Tema Park where they meet Amidaus Professionals.

Asante Kotoko, who are third will be favourites to win against relegation candidates Tema Youth at the Baba Yara Stadium. A win for the Porcupine Warriors will help maintain their momentum as they chase the top.

Aduana Stars endured a third straight defeat but will be counting on good fortune when they arrive in Kpando to meet Heart of Lions.

Ebusua Dwarfs were full value for their 6-1 win over the weekend against bottom side RTU, but they face a big challenge when they go to the Golden City Park to take on Berekum Chelsea, who are second and chasing the summit.

At the Carl Reindorf Park, the Accra derby will see Liberty Professionals, who are five points above the drop take on city rivals Hearts of Oak.

King Faisal were impressive on the weekend at home but they will be on the road to Wa where they meet Wa All Stars.

AshantiGold return back to their Len Clay Stadium to right the wrongs after their defeat against leaders, Medeama. The Miners will take on second from bottom Berekum Arsenal.
