Scores of new Azonto-inspired songs hit the airwaves daily and one of the latest is Koto Mo Shi by Ntim the Lyrical Beast, an artist formerly known as Kapusta.
Recorded by the Tema-based Kaywa, Koto Mo Shi is a very danceable track with a chorus line easy enough for everyone to sing along. It is the type of song that gets people on their feet at shows to joyously shake their bodies.
This is the first item from Ntim since his re-branding. He is now signed on to Okyeame Quophi’s Emklan Music label and information floating around indicates that an album is scheduled out soon.
Koto Mo Shi may pull people to dance but the Lyrical Beast needs to be more creative with his lyrical content.
The song is replete with bits and pieces of lyrics one has already heard on other recently-released songs. Ntim has to dig deeper into himself for more original lyrics if he hopes to last the distance.
