Award winning US-based Ghanaian filmmaker LeIla Djansi is directing a new Inidie drama titled ‘And Then There was You’. Actress Garcelle Beauvais has signed on to star in the movie, which also stars Lynn Whitfield, Greg Vaughan, Leon Robinson, Kate Nauta and Trilby Glover.
Shooting begins in Los Angeles next month.
In And Then There Was You, Beauvais, who recently played the role Denzel Washington’s ex-wife in Robert Zemeckis ‘Flight’, stars as a teacher who has to pick up the pieces of her life after her husband leaves.
“When she falls for a new man, she discovers he, too, has possible relationship-ending secrets”.
And Then There Was You is a Turning Point Pictures production in association with OHTV. It was written by Djansi and produced by Suzanne Patrick, Ryan Daly and Tim Taylor. Dave Harper is Executive Producer.
