Justice Kpegah Fails To Turn Up For Nana Addo Suit

Former Supreme Court judge, Justice Francis Kpegah, failed to turn up in Court on Tuesday for his against NPP 2012 Presidential candidate Nana Akufo Addo.

According to information, the representative of Justice Kpegah appeared at the Accra Fast Track High Court without any document to defend himself.

The former Supreme Court judge claims Nana Akufo-Addo is holding himself out as a lawyer, when evidence available to him indicates that the 2012 NPP flagbearer was never called to the Bar.

In his statement of claim, the retired judge also accused former President John Agyekum Kufuor of complicity when, according to him, Mr Kufuor’s government knew or ought to have known that Nana Akufo-Addo was not on the roll of lawyers, but appointed him as Attorney-General and Minister of Justice who by the provisions of the 1992 Constitution must be a lawyer in good standing.

He has accused Nana Akufo-Addo of impersonating one W.A.D Akufo-Addo.

But lawyers of Nana Akufo Addo are calling on the Court to throw the case away since it is only an attempt to denigrate Nana Addo.
