I Will Knock Out Nana Addo In Court – Kpegah

Former Supreme Court Judge, Justice Francis Kpegah has promised to meet the 2012 Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Akufo-Addo in court on May 2, and knock him out in round one.

Justice Kpegah who failed to appear in Court on Tuesday for the hearing of his writ alleging impersonation by Nana Addo has said he will be in court for the next hearing.

In an interview with Citi News, Justice Kpegah explained that he failed to show up in court because “I had to see my Consultant for review, that is why I sent the solicitor; a Counsel to represent me a Lawyer to argue for the motion.”

He however expressed disappointment that the Lawyer allowed himself to be heckled in court saying, “I understand he was being heckled in court; a lot of lawyers shamefully; senior lawyers so well, the judge said he will not grant the application.”

According to Justice Kpegah, “we have not gone into the meat of the case yet… the main case is coming later on. My motion for summary judgment under Order 40 has not been taken yet; it’s been fixed for 2ND May.”

He stated that he will personally be in court at the next hearing with a team of Lawyers which he is currently selecting because “no non-qualified professional should hide… and be practicing illegally.”
