Ghana striker Dominic Adiyiah scored and provided an assist for Arsenals Kyiv in their 4-1 thumping of Karpaty in the Ukrainian top-flight league on Monday.
Adiyiah, 23, was brought down in the box after rounding up two defenders before Vladimir Arzhanov scored from the spot kick as early as the 7th minute.
Arzhanov then turned the provider for the Ghanaian international who scored with a sublime finish five minutes later.
Kyiv scored the third through Andriy Bogdanov in the 42nd before Levan Kenia reduced the deficit on the 77th minute mark.
However the home side restored their three goal advantage with the fourth goal coming from the boot of Oleksandr Romanchuk at the Stadion Dynamo Valery Lobanovsky.
The former Ghana Under-20 star was shown the yellow card in the 54th minute for a poor challenge on an opponent.
Kyiv had not won a game since November last year due to their financial predicament which has seen many of their top stars leave the club.
