Hip life artiste Diojo, known in real life as Ishmael Opoku Acheampong, has hinted about the date for his debut album release.
The former member of the music duo – Blaq Suede – and the voice behind 5five’s hit song African girls, said in a statement that come 27 th of April this year his ‘back on track album will be unleashed.
Diojo, the Motown old student noted that there will be a huge album release party on 27 th April at 3121 night club (former tantra Night club inside Osu) counting on the support from his friends and all those he featured on the album.
Among the tall list of artistes billed to be supporting Diojo on his debut album and party are, Tinny, Guru, Dobble, Kwabena Kwabena, the lynx family crew, AJ nelson, Natural Face, Blaq out, OD4, 5five, the Bull haus family and many more.
Diojo, whose current single ‘Joggle My number’ is doing very well disclosed that the ‘Back on track’ album is a 15 well written and recorded tracks under the record label May born Octave Inc.
In his final words, Diojo explained that, the album title was influenced by the fact that he has spent so many years working on people’s songs and album which took him away from recording his own debut but he is back on track for a solo career.
