Istanbul will play Rehoboth on Monday

Heavy rains disrupted Istanbul FC’s division one league game against Rehoboth on Sunday.

Istanbul were down by a lone goal when the heavy rains set in at Akyem Techiman in the Eastern Region forcing the referee to abandon the game.

The game however has been rescheduled for Monday with the home side hoping to win to top of the zone 3A standings.

Istanbul have been impressive in the National Division One League where they lie second on the table after picking 15 points from ten games.

They missed qualification to the country’s elite division by a whisker last season.
