Fiorentina have tabled an offer to sign Greuther Furth talented youngster Baba Abdul Rahman, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The Ghanaian international is widely regarded as one of the most talented young players to have emerged from the West African country following some accomplished performance for local giants Asante Kotoko.

The 18-year-old, who joined the newly promoted German side at the start of the season, has attracted the attention of a number of top clubs in Europe who have enquired about his availability.

Greuther Furth have already turned down an offer from two German top sides for the impressive left-back but with relegation starring in their face, they may be forced to let one of their prize asset go.

The Italian outfit have tabled an offer for the youngster who is valued at 3 million pounds.

“Fiorentina have expressed interest in the player and are ready to buy him,” the player’s representative Kurt Okraku told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Rahman is grateful to Greuther Furth but he deserves to play top-flight football in Europe.

“We have received many offers for the player but we’re looking at the best option for him.”

The Dreams FC graduate joined the German outfit on a five-year deal at the start of the season.
