Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah expressed his satisfaction after playing an important role in Sunday’s “crucial” 1-0 victory over AC Milan.
The Ghanaian’s determination in the final third enabled Juventus to earn the penalty that tipped the balance of an otherwise evenly-matched contest.
And Asamoah is already eying his first Serie A championship title as the Scudetto race edges towards its final furlong.
The 24-year-old said: “The penalty changed the game. It was a tough contest, especially in the first half because we didn’t manage to play our usual game.
“We got better after the restart and managed to break the deadlock and record a crucial victory.
“There are still five games left and we want to finish the championship season on a high.
“For me it would be amazing to win the Scudetto, it would be my first and something that’s very important to me.”
