Abraham Kiprotich: he is pointed to by the FFA

Champion at the recent marathon of Daegu in 2h8’33 “and making the minimum for the next World Championships to be held in Moscow from 10 to 18 August 2013, Abraham Kiprotich could be absent from the competition. The Franco-Kenyan is in the eye of the storm of the FFA.

Indeed, Bernard Amsalem (President of the FFA) and Ghani Yalouz (DTN) indicated Thursday before the Senate inquiry that the marathon champion is under a sanction following a doping.

“He went to run in Korea while he was under a temporary suspension of fifteen days following the administrative failures relating to the medical surveillance of elite athletes”  according to the FFA

Kiprotich was never mentioned, but it was clarified that the athlete had had a first arrest for health reasons before the London Games.Kiprotich can begin to worry and get ready to see the French delegation winning Moscow without him.
